In recent years, several automakers, including Ford, BMW and Hyundai, have invested heavily in electric vehicles, with some even claiming to offer a hybrid car for less than $30,000.
While electric cars are popular in India, they are not widely available.
In India, the auto industry has a long history of subsidies and subsidies have not been enough to sustain a growing fleet of electric vehicles.
According to a recent report by the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIIIT), the auto sector has a population of 2.35 billion people, and more than 7.3 million auto plants are operational, with an average capacity of 10,000 vehicles per day.
While the country has one of the lowest per capita emissions in the world, emissions from vehicle and diesel emissions are high.
The government is working on a new set of measures that would ensure electric vehicles can be sold in India.
The new policy will allow for the sale of electric cars in the country, but only in states where there is a local auto industry.
It will also give incentives to local manufacturers to manufacture electric vehicles in India in a phased manner.
