Ford Focus recall to end next week with no impact to dealer network
Ford’s Focus recall involving about 1.2 million vehicles will be over in about a week, the company said Tuesday.
The recall is related to a recall of a faulty brake booster that is connected to a faulty ignition switch.
Ford said it expects to be able to complete the recall in a timely manner.
It is part of a broader effort by Ford to improve safety and reliability of its vehicles.
Ford’s recall of the Focus comes after another recall of other Ford models, including the Lincoln MKZ, in the U.S. in May.
